Our Brunch begins with our signature Shrimp cocktail followed by our buffet with Eggs Bennedict, Chicken Fried Steak, Biscuits, Sausage Gravy, Bacon, Ham, Sausage, Peach Blintzes, Pastries, Cinnamon Rolls, Chocolate covered strawberries, Assorted Salads, Coffee, Juice and our bottomless Mimosa or Champagne glasses. At noon we add Tri-Tip, Chicken, Fried Shrimp, Potatoes, Vegetables and more desserts to the menu.

St. Bernard Lodge is a bed and breakfast lodge located minutes from Lassen National Park in the heart of Northern California. We are situated 10 miles west of Chester/Lake Almanor on Highway 36. Although we are considered a B&B, we offer amenities, services and spacious dining that you would normally associate with a Lassen hotel. The Lodge sits on acres and acres of pasture with breath-taking snow-capped mountain views. So, bring your horses and we’ll stable them for you, bring your Skidoos and enjoy our miles of pristine snow paths or bring your sneakers and enjoy nature the way it was intended.

Bumpass Hell Hike is not yet opened due to danger on the trail. Sulphur Works is open as well as Devil’s Kitchen and Boiling Springs to see mud pots and the geo-thermal features of the Park.

Make plans now to enjoy Mt. Lassen National Park on June 20th and 21st as well as July 19th and August 15th and 16th for National Parks Day. Lassen will not be charging entrance fees. If you haven’t been to the Park since the new visitor center opened, you need to make plans to see it and the park. While here, stay with us at St. Bernard Lodge. Rooms are rustic, warm and comfortable and the food is wonderful.

Momboosa Music Festival, Lake Almanor, CA

A new event this year for the 4th of July weekend is the Momboosa Musical Festival at the Chester Meadow. The entertainment lineup is spectacular featuring the sounds of the tropics: Mumbo Gumbo, Sol Jibe, Soul Majestic, Keyser Soze and one of the nation’s foremost Jimmy Buffet tribute bands: Garrett Wilkin and the Parrotheads.
